Identified by A. Rogerson (NAU) May 1982.
E. Rose (NAU) 4 June 1982.
January 2001. Visit.
Nothing now to be seen.
Completely flat arable field. Farm manager states ploughing has taken place over many years.
H. Paterson (A&E) 1 February 2001.
(S1) records this as Site 49.
This site is close to the site of a Roman settlement (NHER 18135), but is entirely distinct from it with no sign of early occupation. The medieval settlement had shrunk considerably by the post medieval period.
