A cropmark of a double concentric ring ditch, probably a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible on aerial photographs (S1-6). The grid reference of this cropmark has been adjusted from TG 511 139 to TG 5118 1395. Both the inner and outer ring ditches are sub-circular in plan and have narrow ditches. The outer ditch has an external diameter of 21m with the inner ditch measuring 10m in diameter. Linear ditches extend to the northwest and southeast of the outer ring ditch (NHER 27400). It is likely that these are later field boundaries, which were aligned on the round barrow when it was still an extant monument. The ring ditch cropmark is situated on a relatively flat area of ground at a height of c.12m OD.
