Spring 1982.
Stamped leather knife sheath and bone awl found in converting Woodcock's Restaurant to Etam branch.
Sheath has pattern of 'skeins' (figure eights with extra loop). Square paned lattice with passant lions in and diamond paned lattice with birds in. Fleur de lys pattern on surviving portion at back. Length 21.3cm, width at top 7cm.
Awl made from shaped limb bone. Slightly curved with sharp point at end. Length 18.5cm.
House listed as early 19th century.
