9 December 1985. Context 1. General scatter over field. Weathered ploughsoil (S1).
Quite a few sherds medieval pottery particularly at north and south ends. TSC AU.
No evident sites along Fence Bank.
Includes late medieval/early post medieval pottery.
Finds in NCM.

Some of the material from Context 1 has been reidentified as Late Saxon pottery.
