Summary

The remaining fragment, probably the parlour, of a much larger early 16th century timber framed house. Three of the external walls have a later brick cladding, but the south wall, probably protected by a more recently demolished extension, is still largely timber with wattle and daub. Although there have been many later alterations, the house retains some original features, including beams, fireplaces and the upstairs fireplaces.
