Summary

In the 1970s or 80s a Bronze Age palstave, with a trident motif, was recovered from this area during potato harvesting.

Around 1970-1982. Found in field at Silfield whilst harvesting potatoes.
Palstave with trident motif and strong midrib.
Around 535 gms.
Very dark olive green, lightly pitted surface.
Good condition.
Light brown surface discolouration in places.
Blocked loop.
