Summary
A small wood surrounded by a moat. Pieces of 18th century pot, a lava millstone fragment, brick and tile and an ox horn core have been found.

Full Description
1982. East of Hall Farm.
Small wood with ditches levelled.
Suggested by finder as moat, but shape long and narrow as on (S1) makes this improbable.
Probably a ditched wood.
E. Rose (NLA).
Lead-glazed earthenware and salt glazed stoneware sherds, 18th century?
Lava millstone fragment undated.
Brick, early?, and tile fragments with peg holes.
Ox horn core.
