Full Description
About 1962. ('About 20 years ago in 1982').
Purchased from students at Norwich Art College.
Site unknown, 'presumably locally.'
Socketed bronze spearhead, olive/green - bright dark green patina, lighter on reverse, good condition. Light bevel and groove. One recent break.
Socketed axe, 'baggy'; dull dark green, lightly pitted surface especially around loop. Good condition. Three ribs on each side interior socket.
Three sherds of collared urn and one grooved ware?
Seen and bronzes drawn 21 September 1982 by A. Lawson (NAU), who doubts whether the spearhead is really local as it is of foreign type.
(S1) in file.
E. Rose (NAU), 3 November 1982.
