Full Description
Wreck, latterly used for target practice.
Marked on Admiralty chart 1957.
E. Rose (NAU), 28 January 1983.
February 2003. Norfolk NMP.
The vessel has been mapped from an aerial photograph with little control over the tidal zone, and the above grid reference should be seen as approximate only. The structure is submerged and appears to be in an advanced state of deterioration in 1946 (S1). It is not possible to determine from what material the vessel was constructed, although it appears to have a steel hull. The visible remains have an approximate length of 24m and an approximate width of 5m. The structure is visible in 1945 (S2) but is longer discernible by the 1950s (S3) and is presumably destroyed or buried in the sands.
M. Brennand (NMP), 28 February 2003.
