Summary

Fieldwalking in 1983 and 1987 recovered undiagnostic prehistoric, probable Iron Age, Roman or medieval, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds. Subsequent metal-detecting in 2021 recovered a Late Bronze Age socketed axehead fragment; Roman brooches and medieval dress accessories, knife end caps and a horse-harness suspension mount.
