Full Description
January to February 1983. Metal detecting. In field just north of old gravel pit. At east end of Mock Mile Terrace.
Found in ploughsoil, at southwest corner of field in area about 20m across.
Lead seal matrix - S MARG FIL HEBVG
Identified by S. Margeson (NCM).
One silver penny each of John and Edward IV.
Also general scatter of miscellaneous post medieval metal objects, including coins and tokens all over field.
