Summary

Metal detecting on the site has recovered prehistoric flint flakes; a Mesolithic or Early Neolithic flint blade; a Roman coin; Roman and Late Saxon pottery; medieval seal matrices and the rim of a medieval/post-medieval vessel. All cropmarks previously recorded under this NHER number have been moved to new numbers (NHER 42053, 42063, 42065, 42108).

The linears which are perpendicular to the trackway seem to relate to a field system, with a central track/drove way.
A smaller rectilinear enclosure is also alongside this track and appears to relate to either animal enclosure or possibly occupation.
