Map

3 March 1983. Fenland fieldwalking.
Context 1.
Odd medieval sherds over much of field.

Context 2 at 4692 1380. Site no more than 30m in diameter and at 3.1m (10ft) OD but may have been more extensive conjoined with NHER 18946 Context 2.
Scatter medieval pottery, bone, shell and quite a lot of post medieval material. On edge small roddon transformed by superimposed track so that only part survives.
Reveals soil discolouration.
However here the track itself has been ploughed up, although the subsequent remains and some sherds of pottery can be detected in field to west.
The scatter in the field to west is quite plentiful. Few bits of bone. Extends for about 15-20m westwards from west edge field.
