Summary

Fenland fieldwalking here during 1983 recorded scatters of medieval and post medieval pottery, along with pieces of animal bone and shell. These finds were associated with a roddon of unknown date.

Context 1.
Odd sherds of medieval pottery.
Context 2 at 4684 1359.
Scatter of early post medieval pottery fairly concentrated with much more modern material. Also eighteen medieval sherds (archive). Shell and animal bone. One edge of track which in turn sits on roddon. Area minimum of 30m north-to-south x 10m east-to-west at 3.4m (11ft) OD. Details as above.
