Full Description
18 May 1983. Field Observation.
Visited by E. Rose (NAU).
Late 17th century brick house. Five bays on upper storey. Red brick window surrounds in black brick facade. 19th century shop front on ground floor. Rebuilt parapet hides central dormer in pantiled roof.

August 1983. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description excerpt:
"House, now shop. c.1700 core substantially altered in late C18. Brick and burnt headers and pantiled roof. Two storeys and dormer attic. Mid-19th-century double-fronted shop façade to ground floor with central door. Each side in form of canted bays with fluted timber columns on bases below timber architrave. Corinthian pilasters close elevation. Five sash windows with glazing bars to first floor under gauged skewback arches. Brick cornice with dentil frieze and late 19th-century raised parapet obscuring single pedimented dormer in gabled roof."
