Summary

A post medieval house, with stepped gables, and a gable wall of knapped flint, probably dating to the 17th century, or earlier. The barn also has a flint wall, similar to that of the house, and probably also dates to at least the 17th century.

Map

Long building aligned north to south.
Stepped gables at each end but north section of roof lower than remainder, perhaps suggesting an addition.
Gable stack on north gable.
Small late central stack to remainder.
All rendered over except south gable wall.
Some windows on upper floor of west wall retain original size, but replaced.
South gable wall is of knapped flint with traces of two lights blocked in brick at attic level.
Barn to south has similar flint wall with brick slits and buttresses, but many later brick extensions.
Date of house and flint section of barn probably 17th century on exterior at least.
