Summary

Fieldwalking in 1983 by the Fenland Survey recovered odd medieval pottery sherds scattered over this field, more in the eastern field than western. This is likely to be because of the proximity to the village core and better fieldwalking conditions. One Late Saxon pottery sherd was also identified.
