Summary

The majority of this building dates to 1630 but the rear is later, being of an 18th century date. The timber frame construction has been infilled with wattle and daub, and the main gabled roof has a triple chimney stack that shows evidence of it having been rebuilt.

February 1984. Listed, Grade II.
Of about 1630 with rear of 18th century date.
Timber framed, wattle and daub infill, brick rear. T-plan with two storeys. Central early 19th century entrance bay gabled back to main roof. Facade has false timber framed slats which in fact mark position of genuine timber frame behind. 19th century windows. Crosswings gabled east and west, main roof has rebuilt triple ridge stack. Two-storey 18th century rear wing with hipped roof.
