Summary

This pub was originally a timber framed 16th century house. It was partly demolished and rebuilt with an additional wing in the 17th century and was altered and refaced in the 19th century.

Listing Description excerpt:
"17th century and later. Colourwashed brick, steep pitched pantiled gabled roof. Gable chimney stacks. Coved plastered eaves cornice. Two-storeys. L-shaped plan. Casement windows. Pantiled single storey lean-to on front."
