July 2005.
No pillbox is visible at this location on 1940s aerial photographs, and it seems most likely that this is in fact the same pillbox as the Type 22 recorded on the bridge over Burgh Road approximately 200m to the south, which is part of a Light Anti Aircraft Battery (NHER 19084).
S. Tremlett (NMP), 14 July 2005.
