Summary

Metal detecting in 1984 recovered a medieval bronze seal matrix, with the inscription PELICANUS SUM DEI, I am the pelican of God. Also found was part of a possibly post medieval brooch.

Bronze seal matrix, showing pelican opening its breast, with legend PELICANVS SVM DEI.

January 1989. Metal detecting.
Small ? Originally circular (now flattened) collar attached to curved D section strip in form of snake. Bronze. Post medieval.
Bronze slightly convex disc with coin like head and illegible lettering. On reverse, opposed stub and scar, perhaps for pin and catch plate of brooch. Date uncertain, perhaps post medieval.
