Summary

In 1982 a flint artefact of unknown date was recovered from Woodbastwick. It took the form of a flaked natural piece carved to resemble a handaxe. As such, it could date to the prehistoric period.

Flint artefact of unknown date; flaked natural tabular piece of flint now resembling a handaxe.
Other flints from Ranworth, stated to have been 'authenticated' by British Museum, were natural and were disposed of.
Identified by J. J. Wymer (NAU) December 1983.
