February 1984.
In east part of field between Pensthorpe Hall and site of Pensthorpe village. Found scattered on surface amongst strawberry plants.
No metal objects apart from modern rubbish, one sherd of Roman grey jar, and one base, ten body sherds, one rim and one base of medieval unglazed, six sherds Grimston green glazed and two sherds of late medieval transisitional ware.
