Summary

Metal detecting in or before 1984 recovered a miniature cast copper alloy axe of Roman date. This is probably a votive object.

Miniature bronze axe, votive. Curved blade, cast in one piece with flattened cylindrical handle. Two incised circles with dot inside joined by incisded line on blade. Width across blade 2.5cm. Length of handle 3cm. Slide in KLM.
