Summary

A trackway of unknown date, is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs of this site. Prehistoric worked flints, Saxon and medieval pottery, including Thetford Ware and Ipswich Ware, have been found on the surface.

February 1984.
At foot of slope down to river on east side of peninsula. Found on surface of ploughed field.
One worked flint, one sherd Ipswich or Thetford ware (identified C. Dallas, (NAU).
Nine sherds late medieval unglazed and one sherd glazed red earthenware. Also one fragment of hard-fired clay.
