Summary

Fieldwalking here in 1984 recovered several prehistoric worked flints, stems from post medieval clay pipes and sherds of Roman, medieval and post medieval pottery.

1984. North of camp. Found in fieldwalking.
Worked flints: eight flakes, three blades, one scraper (F. Healy (NAU) January 1985).
One possible Roman greyware sherd.
Medieval sherds including late medieval/transitional.
Post medieval Lead glazed earthenware, stoneware, clay pipe stems.
Finds held by NCM, formerly by member of the public [1].
