12 September 1981. Great Fransham field Ordnance Survey 83 (house shown to northeast gone).
One hone fragment.
Sherds of unknown date seen but not collected.

25 February 1985. Further fieldwalking.
Weathered ploughsoil but some spill of coal from next field may mask finds.
Early Saxon? rim, Early Saxon sherds; ?Iron Age sherds, Grimston, medieval and post medieval sherds, worked flint; post medieval bronze buckle.

24 June 1990. Finds made after stripping of soil around chapel in southeast corner in preparation for building work.
