Summary
Slag of unknown date, found during a field walking survey, suggests that this may have been a metal working site. Prehistoric flints and fragments of pottery dating from the Late Saxon to the post medieval periods have also been found.

1978 and 1982. Great Fransham Field 126. Good conditions.
Medieval sherds including early medieval and Grimston, post medieval sherds, Thetford type rim, flint tool, some slag.
