Early 1980. Ordnance Survey Field Great Fransham 219. Field walking in good conditions.
Medieval sherds including early medieval, Grimston, late medieval/early post medieval.
Ipswich ware.
Roman sherds.
Prehistoric sherds and flints.
Post medieval sherds.
Sherds other metal fragments of unknown date.

3 'flint gritted sherds' found in 1980 are probable Iron Age.
