Summary

Metal detecting recovered a Bronze Age copper alloy palstave. This may be part of a scattered hoard with the objects from NHER 22053 and 4755. The exact location of this discovery is unclear.

Unlooped palstave; in form has rudimentary shield-shaped depression next to stop. Widely curving blade. Length 14cm, width across blade 6cm.
