Summary
This was the site of a settlement during the medieval period. Fragments of pottery dating from the Roman to the post medieval periods have found during field walking.

Full Description
29 January and April 1982. Ordnance Survey field Great Fransham 250 (mostly destroyed by new A47).
Field walking; concentration at east end.
Medieval sherds including early medieval and Grimston.
Glazed red earthenware.
