1979. Ordnance Survey field Great Fransham 387. Field walking, good conditions.
Medieval sherds including early medieval, glazed Grimston, West Norfolk Software, one sherd possibly Roman.
Worked flint.

Context 7. Rapid look at unweathered spoil of new underdrain and adjacent surface.
Surprising amount of sherds visible in area of Contexts 2 and 3.
