Described on label as 'jug ornamented with a device found in the precincts of the Norwich Cathedral Mills' sale June 1965. The silver rim has been added'.
17th century Rhenish stoneware jug; rather squat, with 'medallion' (as for example on a Bellarmine) on front; complete.
