Summary

Fieldwalking on this site has recovered a number of prehistoric flints, including a Neolithic flaked axehead. A fragment of Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age pottery has also been found, suggesting that this site was occupied during the Late Neolithic and Early Bronze Age. This was also the site of a settlement during the Early Iron Age, and a concentration of Iron Age pottery has been found, as well as fragments of Roman and medieval pottery.
