Summary

At some time in the 1950s a number of metal objects of Late Saxon and medieval date were recovered from the cemetery. Noteworthy finds included a medieval strap end, a Late Saxon bronze disc with lion mask and a medieval iron key.

1950s or before. Probably from St Margaret's Cemetery (centred on location [1]) which contains several sites.
Bronze strap end, 14th-15th century type, bronze hook, belt-plate (post Conquest type), bronze disc with lion mask, object with prongs, bronze strip, bun shaped lead weight.
Finds held by Thetford Museum, formerly by member of the public [1].
