Summary

In the 1940s-50s a medieval gilt-bronze mount decorated with a fleur-de-lys was found in a drainage ditch near the confluence of the Thet and Little Ouse rivers.

The grid reference provided for this find is an area of confluence of Thet and Little Ouse. The item was found in a drainage trench. It is a post conquest gilt bronze mount with a fleur-de-lys terminal and an incised cross as well as a hooked shank on the back. G. Knocker's small find no. 1222.
