NHER 21079 (Find Spot record) - Multi-period finds

January 1985. Area of Oxborough Hall, possible former park. Found with metal detector in scatter. [1].
Small find 1. Copper alloy strap end formed of three sheets, Late medieval.
Small find 2. Mitred face lead pilgrim badge of T. Becket, medieval.
Small find 3. Copper alloy strap end (S4), openwork, Ringerike style decoration Late Saxon (see drawing, report in file), also seven German stock jettons and Bury St. Edmunds farthing token.

Small find three is described in accessions register as 10th century Winchester style.

Spring 1986. Surface find while using metal detector. Rim and massive stabbed handle sherd of medieval software jug reduced with oxidized surfaces and patches of green glaze. Profuse white bits in fabric. Now in NCM.

February-March 2013. Metal-detecting. Site extended 85m to the south-east. [4].
3 Roman coins and a dolphin brooch.
Middle/Late Saxon hooked tag.
Late Saxon silver ingot (S2).
Late Saxon/medieval harness fitting (S3).
12 medieval coins, buckles, a casket key, strap-end, strap-plate, lead seal matrix and strap mount.
Medieval/post-medieval buckle and turned candlestick fragment.
3 post-medieval coins, 1 token and a lead cloth seal.
