Full Description
Pre 1930. 'In Pier Plain' (street from 5275 0430 to 5281 0395).
'Roman tokens'.
Information in Conservation area report based on (S1), which is itself based on collections of F. H. Emms in Gorleston Library, which were made around the turn of the century.
Did he mean Roman coins, or are these recent trading tokens, perhaps foreign, as one would expect in a seaport?
