Full Description
31 January 1985. On sandy ridge, grey sand probably constituting thin layer in ditch section to west no more than 20-30cm deep over ubiquitous Stubbs Hill clayey loam. Finds from north ridge sloping down to peat - only odd ones spreading up to top of ridge. Fieldwalking in young winter wheat with sand well weathered.
Concentration of sparse flints and very sparse pot boilers, with Neolithic pottery very sparse. 62m northeast-southwest x 20-30m northwest-southeast.
Finds held by NCM.
