Summary

Post medieval gardens, old field boundaries and a medieval road system are visible on aerial photographs. These garden systems are linked to West Barsham Hall and may be the remains of Jacobean formal gardens belonging to the hall. An earthwork survey in 2000 recorded finds of medieval and post medieval pottery.
