Summary

A fragment of Roman pottery was found during fieldwalking at this location in 1984. Metal-detecting in 2022 and 2024 recovered Roman, Middle Saxon and post-medieval coins and several other metal objects, including a Late Iron Age/Roman brooch; a Saxon or medieval unidentified copper alloy object and a post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragment.

1984. Fieldwalking. [1].
Found on surface of ploughed field on former site of Meadow Farm:
1 Roman pottery sherd (grey ware).
Donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1998.118.6).
Identified and compiled by A. Gregory (NAU), 11 December 1984.
