Summary

Wood Farmhouse is a 17th century lobby entrance house, with 18th to 19th century additions. The house may be timber-framed, although it has one masonry gable end. This two storey building is encased in brick, except for the gable ends which are timber-framed to the north and flint and brick to the south. There are two interesting 16th century moulded brick heads set into the gable wall.

English Heritage Listing 1983:
Lobby entrance house, 17th century with 18th to 19th century additions. Possibly timber framed with one masonry gable end. Encased in brick except gable ends which are timber framed to north and flint and brick to south. Brick additions. Two storeys and attic. 18th century side wings with windows, similar windows in main block. Two interesting moulded brick heads, probably 16th century, set into gable wall.
