Summary

Metal detecting in this area during 1985 recovered part of a possible Late Saxon locking mechanism, a medieval dagger hilt and two medieval buckles.

April 1985. Metal detecting. No certain locations given, only 'about 100m south of site NHER 1060 and west of track'.
Medieval bronze dagger hilt.
Openwork bronze hasp, possible Late Saxon, almost exact parallel to Middle Harling, NHER 6033, small find 625.
Bronze buckle plate with four holes and incised decoration, medieval.
Small ?unfinished cast medieval buckle with integral plate, one hole.
