NHER 21550 (Monument record) - World War Two military site

Pill box with only traces of outer brick skin surviving. Polygonal. Pushed over into old sandpit.

Within a large hollow there are two military type rectangular buildings (TF 7551 4068 and TF 7552 4067) with a possible laid track connecting them to the road (S1). To the immediate east of the hollow (TF 7554 4068) is a relatively small, polygonal pillbox with a diameter of 4.1m. This was presumably located to protect the crossroads and approach to Docking, and the possible anti aircraft battery NHER 26671.
