Summary

Fieldwalking for the Fenland Survey in 1985 recovered a number of medieval and early medieval pottery sherds near to a possible medieval drove.

31 October 1985. Fieldwalking winter cereal poor to moderate weathering (S1).
Context 1. Odd medieval sherds close to drove. TSC AJ.
Context 2 at 5411 1710. Small scatter early medieval ware, coarse, in one small area around 20m east to west x 26m north to south on edge of drove. Possibly more under better conditions. TSC AK.
