Summary

Fieldwalking and metal detecting from the 1970s to 2001 recovered a number of flint tools from the Mesolithic and Neolithic periods, as well as pottery sherds from the Iron Age to medieval periods. Other finds include undated metal working debris, and brooches from the Roman and Early Saxon periods, as well as medieval and post medieval harness and strap fittings.

One sherd pimply Ipswich ware, one sandy Ipswich, two non-Ipswich Middle Saxon, six Thetford type wares, one medieval unglazed, one Grimston greenglazed stabbed oval section handle.
