Summary

A medieval lead ampulla with a flower on one side and a medieval or post medieval buckle with a floral design were found in this garden by metal detecting.

June - July 1985. High Cottage. In garden.
Lead ampulla, cross hatching on one side, flower on other; four main petals, subsidiary petals (?) in between. See (S1) ( PB142 in KLM) similar design but cross hatching on reverse is on shield.
Double buckle, copper alloy, some floral decoration on outside edges, more likely post medieval than medieval. Decoration cast (?) with buckle.
