Full Description
23 January 1986. Fieldwalking in weathered ploughsoil.
Context 1: general scatter medieval pot. WPP EH (S1).
Context 2: at 4979 1647. Concentration medieval pottery, sparse to moderate, animal bone ditto, shell ditto, fired clay and other post medieval fragments other than pottery sparse to moderate. And three Late Saxon sherds. Set on roddon lying back from drove, 42m east to west x 33m north to south at 2.7m OD. WPP 104 (S2).
