Full Description
Pre 1985. 'In rough east-west line across two fields' between sites NHER 13174 and NHER 17697. [1].
Three Iron Age sherds.
In letter from source states that sherds were identified by A.Gregory (NAU) or A. Rogerson (NAU), though no NAU record of this. However, note that Iron Age sherd mentioned from site NHER 17697 in same sentence was in fact identified by A. Rogerson (NAU) only as a prehistoric flint gritted.
E. Rose (NAU) 10 February 1986.
September 2017. Metal-detecting. Site extended to the whole field. [2].
1 Roman coin.
Information from PAS import.
A. Beckham (HES), 27 February 2019. Amended by E. McDonald (HES), 1 March 2019.
