NHER 22263 (Monument record) - Site of medieval timber-framed buildings, 87 High Street

Originally apparently three timber framed properties, one on street frontage and two conjoining separated to rear; remnants of scissor truss roof dated by P. Short to about 1300, and timber framed walls. Extension to north in 16th century now demolished. Space between two blocks infilled probably in 18th century when facade block modernised.
